From there you get actions to perform the different warehouse activities, for instance warehouse receive, pick, and put away.
How a warehouse receipt works in the flow
Say you are doing a warehouse receipt and you don’t know the purchase number, but you know the item number that is coming in. The flow handles the lookup for you. If there is only one matching warehouse receipt, it finds it automatically. If there are several, it shows a list so you can select the right one.
The flow then walks you through the rest of the registration. It checks that you have an assigned user ID on the warehouse receipt, asks how many you want to receive on the item (for example, the number of boxes on the receipt), and continues from there.
As you work, the flow builds up a list of what you are receiving. If you entered item number 1500, you can pick another item or simply take the next item on the warehouse receipt and carry on. The lookup functionality gives you a full overview of the different items you are receiving.
When you are done and want to stop the receipt, the flow asks whether you want to post it and then posts it.
