When you set up Warehouse Mobile in Business Central, the configuration goes faster if you use the right role center. Abakion ships a Mobile Flow Administrator role center in the standard setup. It gives you every action and function you need to configure mobile flows in one place.

From the role center you can open all the mobile flows that come out of the box and modify them to fit your needs. You can manage resources and resource setups, view the user setup list, and define mobile flow permission groups. The package installs with a default permission group, and you can create additional groups. You can also reinstall the package and define mobile flow groups that control who sees what.

The Mobile Flow Administrator role center for Warehouse Mobile

If you are an administrator working with Warehouse Mobile, you may want to change your role center. The standard setup includes a Mobile Flow Administrator role center built specifically for this. Its purpose is to give you all the actions and functionality you need to do the setup, gathered in one view instead of scattered across the system.

Working with mobile flows out of the box

From the role center you can open all the different mobile flows that ship out of the box. You can modify them or adjust whatever you need on each flow. This is where you tailor the standard flows to match how your warehouse actually works.

Managing resources, user setup and time collectors

The role center lets you add resources and resource setups, and see all the different resources in one place. You can view the user setup list as well.

You can also add time collector setup if part of your mobile flow uses time collectors. Warehouse Mobile does not use time collectors at this point. Time collectors are more relevant for time and attendance, shop floor scenarios and similar use cases.

Setting up permission groups and access

You can change or set up the mobile flow permission groups directly from the role center. The package comes with a default permission group out of the box, alongside any other groups you create. All of these groups have full permissions by default, so you adjust them to restrict access as needed.

If you need to reinstall the package, you can do that from here as well. And you can define mobile flow groups to determine who should see what, so different users get access to the flows that are relevant to them.

This role center is what Abakion suggests you use when you do the setup of mobile flows. It keeps the configuration work focused and saves you from hunting for settings across the system.
