If you are setting up Mobile Flow in Business Central, you should give your warehouse users a dedicated role center called the Mobile Flow Warehouse Role Center. This role center is installed by default when you install the Mobile Flow app, and it shows only the flows and tiles that are relevant to mobile warehouse work.

The role center adapts to the device. On a computer screen it shows a full layout, while on a tablet or scanner it narrows down and uses large icons for easier touch operation. The same role center works across scanners, iPhones, tablets, and computers.

The Mobile Flow Warehouse Role Center for end users

When you set up Mobile Flow for the end users who will be working in the warehouse, we recommend assigning them a role center built specifically for that purpose. We call it the Mobile Flow Warehouse Role Center, and it is set up by default when you install the app.

The point of this role center is to keep things simple. It displays only the flows and tiles that are relevant for a mobile flow user, so the people on the floor are not distracted by functionality they do not need.

How the role center adapts to different devices

The role center adjusts its layout depending on the device you are using. On a computer screen it shows a full view. On a tablet it becomes more narrowed down, with large icons that are easier to tap. This is also what your users will see on a handheld scanner or an iPhone.

The same role center covers all of these devices, so whether your warehouse staff are working on a scanner, an iPhone, a tablet, or a computer, they get a consistent and relevant experience.
