The Sales Configurator from Abakion is available on Microsoft AppSource with a free 60-day trial. You can install it directly into your Business Central SaaS solution and start testing it without any commitment.

To install it, search for “Sales Configurator” on AppSource, or go to Microsoft AppSource and download the free trial there.

After installing, you activate the app from the notification bar in Business Central and enter your email address. Once activated, you enable the configurator on your items by setting the “Include in Hierarchy” field on the relevant items and SKUs.

Finding the Sales Configurator on AppSource

If you run Business Central as a SaaS solution, you can get started with the Sales Configurator in a few minutes. There are two ways to find it.

The first option is to search for “Sales Configurator” directly inside your Business Central solution and access it from there. The second option is to go to Microsoft AppSource, locate the app, and download the free trial from there.

The trial runs for 60 days, so you have time to try the functionality properly before deciding whether it fits your needs.

Activating the trial in Business Central

Once you have downloaded the free trial, it shows up in the notification bar in your Business Central. The next time you open Business Central, you get a notification prompting you to activate the app.

Select Activate Sales Configurator now and enter your email address. The email is used so we know how to communicate with you. Press next, and you are up and running.

During this step you also get links to videos about the configurator and how to use it.

Setting up items with Include in Hierarchy

After activation, there is one setup step left before you can start configuring. You need to mark the items and SKUs you want to use by checking the Include in Hierarchy field. This tells the configurator which items belong in the product hierarchy.
