Dynamic reports in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central let you maintain several versions of the same document, such as a sales order confirmation. You control these versions through report templates.

To make a new version, you create a new report template. You can do this in two ways.

- Copy an existing template, which is the faster method.
To copy a template, go to Actions and choose Copy to New. Then enter a new template code and give it a new description. Once that is done, the new report template is created.
You can now edit the new template however you want and use it when printing out your documents.
